- rosin - 2 parts;
- lard - 1 part;
- chalk - 10 parts.
Place the components in a metal container and stir. Put the product in a water bath. Stir continuously to heat material. Do not remove from the water bath until the product acquires a liquid consistency. After cooling, use the composition as directed.
Based on linseed oil
To prepare a putty based on linseed oil, take:
- linseed oil - 7 parts;
- Umbra (mineral brown pigment from clay) - 4 parts;
- yellow wax - 4 parts;
- chalk - 5.5 parts;
- white lead - 11 parts.
Combine linseed oil and umber in a suitable metal container. Put the product in a water bath. Stirring the product continuously, add the remaining ingredients. Keep the product in a water bath until a liquid texture is formed until lumps disappear. Cool the material and use as directed.
