Criteria for choosing a spray gun
When purchasing an aggregate, it is necessary:
- Preference is given to devices that are designed to work directly with emulsion paints or universal models. You need to pay attention to the recommendations of the manufacturer of the selected tool. In addition, spray guns should not be used for applying coatings in which various solvents are used.
- The kit for the spray gun should include a set of interchangeable nozzles. When using a tool for working with water-based emulsion formulations, atomizers are usually chosen whose nozzle diameter is not less than 2 millimeters, which depends on the size of the particles included in the solution.

- Low pressure. In such devices, the atomization of air by the integrated pump occurs at low pressure, up to 1 atmosphere. The sprayer works on the same principle as pneumatic devices. It features good quality coating, low weight of the device, the tank capacity of up to one liter.
Tip: When choosing a spray gun, you should make sure that it can be used for painting with water-based paint.
Some tips on how to paint the walls and ceiling with a spray gun:
- The painted surface from the nozzle of the unit should be at a distance of 15-20 centimeters.
Tip: For orientation, when choosing a distance, you should use a palm whose length is 20 centimeters.
- The spray gun should be located strictly perpendicular to the surface. At the same time, you need to move with it along the painted surface without turning your hand.
- You cannot lead the tool along an arc. Paint should be applied with strokes so that the subsequent stroke 1/2 overlaps the previous one.
- Painting should begin from any upper edge of the wall by pressing the operating button of the spray gun two centimeters to the corner.
- The horizontal plane is painted with a slightly inclined tool in the direction of its movement.
