What is used as a facing material

Facing prefabricated houses in recent years is performed quite often. This is due to the fact that the panels are not able to protect the premises from the effects of cold climatic conditions. Over time, they lose their properties.

Panel house cladding options

Today, facing a panel house of any number of floors is carried out using:

• Decorative panels.
• Plasters.
• Paints.

Decorative panels and their properties

Decorative panels are made of plastic or metal. On the surface there is a different design and imitation of any modern finishing materials.

The most practical and durable are metal panels, they:

• Moisture-resistant, as they are made of thin sheets of aluminum, and it is not subject to corrosion in all weather conditions.
• They have various sizes. There are sheets 150x200 cm, 60x90 cm, 60x60 cm. There are other sizes.
• Durable. On their surface they can withstand heavy loads.
• Wear resistant and durable. Throughout the entire period of operation, they do not lose their appearance.
• Practical, since they do not require special care.

How are insulation works

And:

• Plastic panels have similar properties, only less durable.
• Installation of these materials is carried out only on the crate. At the same time, it is possible to make insulation of the building in parallel and use polystyrene or other insulation in mats for this.
• Sheets of such material are inserted into the cells, and only then decorative decorative panels are attached over them.

Tip. As a rule, the crate is made of wooden planks, but in the case of external finishing works it is best to give preference to metal profiles that are not so exposed to various kinds of influences and will be more durable.

Stucco application

This process of facing a panel house is quite lengthy. First, the surface of the structure is leveled with the help of start or finish plaster and only then layers of decorative plaster are superimposed on them.

In the works use:

• A few spatulas.
• Mortar solutions.
• Building level.
• Sandpaper.

Tip. Since the house is 10 floors, the work must be done using special equipment (machines with electric lifts). For applying plaster, spray guns are used to speed up the finishing process.

Paint in house cladding

This decorative product can only be used on a flat surface. To do this, it is pre-aligned with two types of plaster (start and finish) and only then painted.

The paint should be oily or acrylic, since it is not recommended to use a water emulsion in such works. Its main component will be water. When exposed to weather and climate events, this type of paint very quickly loses its properties and appearance.

Paint is also applied using special equipment - a spray gun. Thus, the entire finishing process will become very fast and better.
